According to Legend, Referring to History

The Group of Artists participating on the show have accumulated life long experience in their respective medium and stand the test of time on their efforts to bring new visions and possibilities to the art world. Their art works presented this time at GR Art Gallery is the fruition of many years of creative self expression and the perfection of their art form. In this themed show “According to Legend, Referring to History” the participating artists were selected by invitation for their own reflection on the Theme, from their perspective and points of view using the medium they are comfortable with to create the images.

We are reintroducing George Kastrioti (Scanderbeg), an integral figure in not only Albanian but also of 15th-century European history, as seen from the lens of today’s artists reflecting on the legend and history of that time period. In this exhibition we are emphasizing how contemporary arts and various styles and art techniques treat history and legend, not only directly related to a central figure like Scanderbeg, but a symbol of unity and cultural bond to bring this modest contribution to American Audience and American Arts.
